Who We Are
At Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, we believe that we can provide the necessary solutions and treatments for you, your child, or your family. You need someone who will listen to you and understand the specific needs of your child or adolescent, not simply check a few boxes on a form and give you a diagnosis.
We specialize in the treatment of ADHD, depression, anxiety, autism and austistic spectrum symptoms and all other disorders of childhood classified within the DSM-IV TR and now, DSM-V. In addition, we provide family therapy for behavioral issues including oppositional defiant disorder and other forms of behavioral disturbance.
Our Philosophy and Approach
Treating children and adolescents is a fundamentally relational enterprise. Without the ability to interact openly and honestly, the business of psychiatry does not get very far. At Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Southern New Jersey, we know this. We also understand that the number one commodity in a relational treatment environment is time. That’s what we provide. You will not be rushed out of an appointment. You are not a number. People, and our children especially, deserve more than this.
